Pulev to floor Chisora in round 10
Chisora 2/1 underdog to avenge 2016 defeat
Sporting Index have predicted that Kubrat Pulev will defeat Derek Chisora before the final bell, with a 10th round stoppage at the O2 Arena on Saturday.
The spread betting experts forecast Pulev will stop the fight in the 30th minute, ending the British fighter’s hopes of a successful revenge mission.
Pulev won their first meeting in 2016 via split decision to win the EBU belt, and is 11/10 to win by the same method on Saturday, while he is just 7/20 favourite to come out on top once again.
Chisora will be hoping to use his power to good effect and is 4/1 to win by KO, but it would be a surprise were he to prove good enough over a full 12 rounds, with a win on points priced at 11/2.
Neville Burdock, Head of Trading at Sporting Index, said: “Two veteran heavyweights slug it out on Saturday night and just as it was in 2016 it could prove to be a real war of attrition, with Pulev the 7/20 favourite and Chisora priced at 2/1.
“Del Boy does tend to tire in the latter stages of his fights now and we see Pulev taking advantage at the end of the 10th, knocking his old foe to the canvas in the 30th minute.”
