FaZe Temper plans to test KSI’s chin
KSI marks his return to the boxing ring at MF & DAZN: X Series 004 this Saturday where he takes on fellow Youtuber FaZe Temper live on DAZN and DAZN PPV around the world from the London’s OVO Arena, Wembley.
January 14 will host ‘The Nightmare’ KSI as he returns following his history-making ‘Two Fights, One Night’ wins against Luis Alcaraz Pineda and Swarmz at the inaugural MF & DAZN: X Series 001 event back in August 2021. This six-round fight with Temper will be the headline bout of a star-studded card, featuring the likes of Slim vs Tom Zanetti and one of KSI’s last opponents, Swarmz, will go up against Ryan Taylor.
During the face-off livestream, FaZe Temper spoke of his readiness to seize the moment and take out the crossover boxing king in KSI. Although Temper was respectful towards his social media adversary, it was strictly business as he outlined what to expect from his addition to the top of the bill.
“I was due to fight a mystery opponent but then Danis pulled out and I got the opportunity, and this is something that I have imagined doing later down the line, so I’m not going to say no to it,” said Temper.
“This is going to be my hardest matchup, I’ve been training consistently since September 2021, it pays off to stay ready and I think I’ve got a lot in store. You weren’t there that day against Slim where everything went wrong and, had I won that fight, I wouldn’t be here. When it comes to my rematch with Slim I will avenge that loss.”
“You’re going to have a hard time to touch me. I think you’re underestimating me and it’s going to be fireworks,” continued the FaZe Clan member.
“I will test that chin.”
There will be plenty of pent-up emotion within KSI heading into a bout against an opponent he hadn’t initially prepared for. However, in true KSI nature, the goalposts move but the focus is always rock solid as he looks to punish any man who stands in front of him.
“I’m very angry with Danis. Why waste everyone’s time? He just got away with it. Temper is better than Dillon Danis, I am fighting someone better and he will be a big threat to me,” said KSI.
“I’m JJ, I’m KSI, I know what I am, I know how much work I put in and I feel like my intensity will break Temper down and he’s going to experience nothing like me. It will be a shock to the system.
“I will be more clinical, more dangerous, and have more work rate in me. I’m going to show the world I mean business when it comes to the boxing scene.”
FaZe Temper has had fights with Slim and Overtflow during his Misfits Boxing career, with contrasting outcomes. The loss to Slim has not defined Temper, but merely lit a fire within him to learn from the initial defeat and pick up where he left off from his devasting performance in Texas.
Undeterred, KSI is looking to continue to his own destructive journey throughout crossover boxing. Temper will be coming to silence the home crowd, but his opponent is not even entertaining any whisper of such an outcome on fight night.
“Since I fought Logan I have gone levels above, and people will see I’m a very scary guy in the ring,” said KSI.
“Temper has no chance!”
Can KSI remain unbeaten? Will FaZe Temper bounce back with a win? It all goes down on Saturday 14th January live on DAZN and DAZN PPV around the world from the London’s OVO Arena, Wembley.
