MF & DAZN: X SERIES 004 will be headlined by KSI vs. Dillon Danis
KSI vs Dillon Danis set for January 14 at the OVO Wembley Arena
DAZN Group, the global sports entertainment company, today unveils its fourth instalment of its ground-breaking crossover MF & DAZN: X SERIES in partnership with social media megastar KSI and his promotional company Misfits Boxing, and in association with the Sauerland brothers, Wasserman Boxing and Proper Loud.
With over 50 million followers across his various social media platforms, two Number 1 albums, and an unbeaten record in the ring, KSI is one of the world’s most recognisable faces in the world. Last time out saw KSI take on two fighters in one night; rival Swarmz which resulted in a dominant second round stoppage for KSI, and an equally impressive performance against professional boxer Luis Pineda who he forced to the canvas six times within three rounds.
Dillon Danis career as a fighter started way back in his youth having entered a Jiu-Jitsu gym as a teenager, then moving to New York to pursue the possibility of becoming a professional athlete in the world of Jiu-Jitsu. He had successes in major competitions that were recognised throughout the fighting discipline, which led to his efforts being reward with a black belt in 2015.
With the blend of becoming an infamous name as well as his fighting background, he opted to step inside the cage with the promotion Bellator in 2018 where he pulled off a debut submission win against Kyle Walker. His second fight produced similar results when he submitted Max Humphrey to go 2-0 with the promotion. Now, Danis will enter the ring where he must lay his black belt aside and exchange it for boxing gloves and stand-up action on the feet.
