Buatsi to floor Richards in 25th minute
Unbeaten fighter to extend his record with ninth round stoppage
Unbeaten light-heavyweight Joshua Buatsi is predicted to defeat challenger Craig Richards in the 25th minute of their fight at the O2 Arena, according to the experts at Sporting Index.
Buatsi, nicknamed ‘Just Business’, is expected to make it business as usual by putting an end to Richards’ hopes midway through the ninth round.
After winning 13 of his 15 career fights by KO, Buatsi is a 7/10 chance to add another knockout to his collection, while he is 11/5 to win on points.
Richards is unbeaten in five fights at the O2 Arena, but looks to have his work cut out at 11/2 to win on points, while he is 11/1 to land a knockout blow.
Neville Burdock, Head of Trading at Sporting Index, said: “This looks another all-British fight to savour, and we predict Joshua Buatsi will make fairly short work of Craig Richards by finishing his opponent in the 25th minute, for a round nine stoppage.
“Buatsi has a fearsome knockout record of 87% and we expect him to enhance that, at 7/10 to win by KO, to extend his unbeaten record.
“It would be a shock if Richards was able to go the distance, but if he does, we make him the 11/2 outsider to win on points, with Buatsi still a strong 11/5 favourite.”
