Undercard highlights
For hardcore fans, the British cruiserweight title fight between holder Matty Askin, who has trained remotely for this title defence, and tough Scot Stephen Simmons is the real main event and their potential barnstormer should be featured on the live broadcast.
Other fights may well be televised if one or both of the top-billed contests end within the scheduled distance. Let’s hope so, as Southern Area cruiser king Wadi Camacho defends against Danny Couzens, while fast-rising Goodwin Promotions prospects Linus Udofia and Mark Little feature in a supporting cast brimming with talent. Also worth mentioning is the traditional boxing debut of British Muay Thai star Ruqsana Begum. And lastly, light-heavyweight “Dazzling” Darrel Church (5-2-1), 28 from Chelmsford, tackles South Londoner Rikke Askew (2-2) over four-rounds in a make or break fight for the Essex puncher to get back to Southern Area title contention.
