MTK Fight Night May 14 event postponed
The upcoming MTK Fight Night event scheduled for May 14 at the University of Bolton Stadium has unfortunately been postponed.
A new date for the IBF flyweight title final eliminator between Jay Harris and Ricardo Sandoval will be announced in due course. The next MTK Fight Night is set to take place in June, with an official announcement on the event made in the coming weeks.
Harris took to social media to notify his following of the frustrating news: "Unfortunately, my fight on May 14th has been postponed to a later date, new date will be soon, still nothing changes, just a minor blip, couple of days off and we go back at it."
The world title contender's message sounds like the postponement won't be for very long.
