Jaime Munguia (36-0, 29KOs) will make his return to the ring Saturday, June 19, when he faces Kamil Szeremeta (21-1, 5KOs) at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. The show will be streamed live exclusively on DAZN worldwide, excluding Mexico.
Szeremeta last fought in December and came up short against IBF champion Gennadiy Golovkin. He suffered the first loss of his career in a seventh-round knockout. He hopes to rebound against a rising star who is expected to become a major player in the middleweight division.
The undefeated Munguia is only 24 but already has a 36-0 record with 29 knockouts and held the WBO junior middleweight championship before making the move to middleweight.
