Undefeated Munguia defeats on Szeremeta in DAZN fight night
Jaime Munguia (36-0, 29KOs) will make his return to the ring Saturday, June 19, when he faces Kamil Szeremeta (21-1, 5KOs) at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. The show will be streamed live exclusively on DAZN worldwide, excluding Mexico.
Szeremeta last fought in December and came up short against IBF champion Gennadiy Golovkin. He suffered the first loss of his career in a seventh-round knockout. He hopes to rebound against a rising star who is expected to become a major player in the middleweight division.
The undefeated Munguia is only 24 but already has a 36-0 record with 29 knockouts and held the WBO junior middleweight championship before making the move to middleweight.

Jaime Munguia vs. Kamil Szeremeta
THE FIGHT IS STOPPED: Jaime Munguia defeats Kamil Szeremeta by stoppage as the Polish fighter retires on the stool in between the sixth and seventh round. Munguia moves to 37-0 on his professional record at middleweight.
Round 6: Pressure continued in Texas, as Szeremeta continued to take punishment with repetitive uppercuts landing flush from Munguia who was clearly sensing the opportunity to stop the fight.
Round 5: Munguia came out firing early on landing a stiff left uppercut that rocked his opponent. His domination continued but he failed to sustain his pressure and rock his opponent beyond single shots so far.
Round 4: Szeremeta covered up and tried to counter, as Munguia worked hard to plant his feet and unload combinations. Trading continued in the ring, as both fighters tried to come forward with Munguia landing the more accurate shots.
Round 3: Another dominant round for Munguia who continued to try and load up. Szeremeta seemed rather content with the power punching so far, and tried to work his own jab in spells.
Round 2: The Polish fighter started to try and fight back early on in a tentative approach, but Munguia started to land more combinations with a powerful uppercut the highlight punch of the round.
Round 1: Munguia started well hitting powerfully and with conviction early on. He looked keen to try and mix up his combinations early, and apply pressure as his mind was clearly on working towards a stoppage.
Bektemir Melikuziev vs. Gabriel Rosado
RESULT: Gabriel Rosado defeats Bektemir Melikuziev via third round knockout stoppage to earn the WBO International Super Middleweight Title.
Round 3: INCREDIBLE KNOCKOUT! Gabe Rosado comes out of the round under the cosh, but fires a tremendous short right hook to send Bek sprawling to the canvas and take the explosive stoppage victory over Melekuziev against the run of the fight.
Round 2: Bek continued to stay on top in the second round, working the body well of Rosado. The challenger looked very much in his shell covering up and trying to withstand the early pressure. A better spell late on for Rosado who responded well.
Round 1: EARLY KNOCKDOWN! Melukuziev takes the centre of the ring from the opening bell, with Rosado on the back foot defending well with his southpaw stance. A tight opener as the feelers were out in the early stages. Bek then scored a knockdown late on with some firm body shts rocking Rosado, then sending him to his knee with some stiff work to the head.
