The International Boxing Organization have released their monthly newsletter for August 2021, consisting of all the latest stories surrounding the respected independent governing body in boxing, featuring the highly-anticipated heavyweight clash between Joshua and Usyk, the return of light-heavyweight champion Robin Krasniqi, and more.

It took less than 24 hours for Unified IBO World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk tickets to sell out Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both fighters are in camp and ready for the biggest Heavyweight fight of 2021.
Robin Returns
IBO World Light Heavyweight Champion Robin Krasniqi is back in Germany training with a title defense announcement coming soon.
"The Real Deal"
Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano returns to action next weekend in Ohio on Showtime PPV, defending her IBO World Featherweight title against Yamileth Mercado.
KO Kali
Kali "KO Mequinonoag" Reis meets Diana Prazak this weekend for the IBO World Super Lightweight title on a massive card for Women's Boxing promoted by Lou DiBella, available on UFC Fight Pass.
Impacto vs Maximus
IBO World Lightweight Champion Jovanni "Impacto" Straffon, honoring Mexican Independence which he will be wearing September 4th against in-form "Miracle Man" Maxi Hughes in Leeds on the Warrington-Lara 2 undercard. 31-year old Briton, Hughes, has won his last four fights against some very notable names, including world title contender, Jono Carroll; undefeated Kazakh, Viktor Kotochigov; and most recently, Paul Hyland Jr. via eighth round TKO.
Carlos Gongora Honoured
IBO World Super Middleweight Champion Carlos Gongora was recently honoured by the Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso and is awaiting his next title defense in the USA on DAZN.
Harper Watches On
IBO World Super Featherweight Champion Terri Harper and manager/trainer Stefy Bull enjoyed being spectators at the Fight Camp series held at Matchroom Square Garden with Promoter Eddie Hearn.
Harper is fully recovered from her recent hand surgery and looking to get back in the ring before the end of the year.
Coming to America
The Lone Wolf is heading to America. Congratulations to IBO World Super Featherweight Champion Michael Magnesi, who recently signed a co-promotional deal with DiBella Entertainment. Magnesi hopes to make his US debut this Fall.
The Crazy Truth
Expect fireworks for the IBO World Title Eliminator next weekend in Sheffield when Anthony "The Truth" Tomlinson meets "Crazy" Dante Jardon. The pair clash this Friday, live on Fightzone TV, for the IBO Inter-Continental welterweight title. Find out more HERE
