Predictions
Tim Rickson, BBN Editor: "Fury teaming up with the SugarHill Steward at the Kronk Gym worked wonders in the last fight, doing what that famous gym has always managed to get their fighters to do – knockouts! They train their fighters to get the job done early and they have promised to do the same again. So I believe them when they say, they are going to finish Wilder quicker than the last fight.
Fury was knocked down twice in the first fight, but still managed to go 12 rounds and get a draw. Ben Davison's game plan of staying away and hoping not to get knocked out was too negative. Why defend when you can attack? Why go back when you can go forward? Why be pressured when you can pressure? Steward has the right idea, go in and turn the lights out early.
In the rematch, Wilder buzzed Fury straightaway in the first round, which he even acknowledged after the fight that it almost knocked him out. So Wilder could land and deck Fury at any time when he's still standing, so Fury needs to push forward, lean on him, put pressure on him, drain his energy, speed and power, and get close enough that he can't reel off those wild, stinging shots. The weight of Fury's punches can hurt Wilder and hopefully finish him within seven rounds again."
