How to watch Andy Ruiz Jr. vs Luis Ortiz
Former unified world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (34-2, 22KO) returns to action against two-time heavyweight title challenger Luis Ortiz (33-2, 28KO).
Mexican-American Ruiz Jr. has only fought twice since pulling off one of the biggest upsets in boxing history in June 2019 when he stopped defednign champion Anthony Joshua in his Stateside debut to claim four heavyweight titles. First, he came in out of shape and lost a wide decision to Joshua in their December 2019 rematch, then got dropped early but rebounded to win a decision over his childhood hero Chris Arreola in May 2021.
Cuban stylist Ortiz has been a fixture atop heavyweight rankings for years, with his only defeats coming in two memorable contests with former longtime heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Most recently, Ortiz stopped former IBF world champion Charles Martin in the sixth round on New Year's Day in an all-action affair.
