How to watch Serrano-Hardy
Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano (44-2-1, 30KO) will defend her undisputed featherweight championship this Saturday, August 5th, against American Heather Hardy (24-2, 4KO) at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
This fight presented by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Real Fight Inc., will be part of the card where Jake Paul will face Nate Diaz in the headliner.
34-year-old Brooklyn-based Puerto Rican, Serrano, is coming off a huge victory in April against Erika Cruz to win add the WBA belt to her WBC, IBF, WBO and IBO, becoming undisputed at featherweight.
Following that triumph, she had signed on for a rematch against Ireland's Katie Taylor but injury forced her to pull out of the fight. After a spell of recovery, she is ready to return to the ring at 126 pounds against Hardy, a familiar foe she knows well.
Hardly a stranger, New Yorker Hardy faced Serrano in 2019 and, although she lost by unanimous decision, she fought with bravery and heart, even though it looked like it could be over in the very first round.
Both boxers arrive on a two-win fight streak, plus first-hand knowledge of each other. Hardy will be incentivised that Serrano really pushed for the stoppage in their first meeting but couldn't quite force it and the undisputed champ will be confident that she clearly outboxed her last time.
The event will be distributed globally by DAZN and can also be seen in the United States on ESPN+.
