Harley Benn believes Conor deserves to continue his career: "I just want to see him smash up Eubank!"
Harley Benn (9-1, 1KO), Conor Benn's half-brother, protested his innocence to Boxing Social just days before the Chris Eubank vs Liam Smith clash in Manchester on January 21st.
He commented in the interview that, "I always knew that it wasn't what people were saying it was, and the public and this and that. Unfortunately, it took science this long to prove whatever.
"I'm just waiting to see myself, I don't know too much about the situation. I'm not gonna comment on the situation. All I'm saying is I know my brother and I know he's not a drugs cheat.
"I just wanna see Conor Benn back in the ring, name cleared, ready to go. He's a young man, the world at his feet; and he deserves to be able to clear his name and get back on with his career.
He casually added, "I wanna see him smash up Eubank!"
Who is Harley Benn?
Born in Chichester, Sussex, Harley was conceived after Nigel, 57, had an affair with his mother Lisa Andrews while going through IVF with second wife Carolyne.
From Hornchurch in East London, Harley is a professional boxer, like his half-brother Conor and famous dad Nigel.
The 26-year-old has a record of 9-1, with one knockout, with his only defeat coming in 2019 on a Frank Warren show against 0-16 journeyman Lee Hallett.
His pro debut was in February 2017, and six years on he hasn't progressed at all. He is still fighting four-rounders against journeymen in small hall shows.
