Hannah Rankin back to winning ways
Scotland's Hannah Rankin (9-4, 2KO) earned a third-round knockout of Eva Bajic (14-17, 9KO) in her first fight since losing the IBO super-welterweight title in November.
The 29-year-old Glaswegian started slowly at Paisley's Lagoon Centre but dropped the Hungarian in the first round.
Bajic, 35 from Serbia, got up after the eight count and tried to hit back in the second round, but was met by a flurry of body shots.
And she was floored again twice in the third round – the second time after one minute and 51 seconds – by the 29-year-old Scot.
Unbeaten welterweight Dean Sutherland (10-0) defeated Basi Razaq (8-2-1) over six rounds, scored at 59-56. 'Deadly' Dean, 21 from Aberdeen, had been experiencing sparring with former world champion Kell Brook in the lead up to this fight, who won on the same night in Sheffield, defeating American Mark DeLuca in seven rounds.
Cory McCulloch (4-0), Jordan Grant (2-0) and Luca Micheletti (2-0) all continued their unbeaten streaks on the undercard.
