Hannah Baggaley secures stoppage win on pro bow
Despite giving away over 10lbs to her opponent, 'Hurricane' Hannah Baggaley stopped Bulgarian Borislava Goranova (11-67-4) with two big right hands in the second round of her pro debut on September 16.
Hannah joined fellow Brit Savannah Marshall to become one of only eight from 77 fighters to halt the 43-year-old veteran fighter from Sofia. Not even Terri Harper managed to KO the title contender when they fought over four rounds in 2018, or even Cecilia Braekhus and she had over eight rounds.
The 24-year-old from Blackpool update her Twitter followers after the fight, "Won by second round KO, thanks for the love guys!"
'Hurricane' Hannah is trained by former pro Arnie Farnell in Blackpool. She didn't have an amateur career but won fights in unlicensed boxing up and down the country.
