Hamzah Sheeraz vs Liam Williams postponed to 2024
WBC Silver middleweight champion Hamzah Sheeraz has sustained a perforated ear drum in training and, therefore, his scheduled fight against Liam Williams at the Copper Box Arena on December 2 has been postponed until early in 2024.
Queensberry Promotions are currently in the process of securing a new date from the venue.
Sheeraz (18-0, 4KO) had recently two impressive and quick victories over River Wilson-Bent and Dmytro Mytrofanov, who were both swiftly dispatched in the second round.
Promoter Frank Warren stated, "Disappointed to hear young Hamzah Sheeraz has sustained an injury and wish him a quick and good recovery.
"What was a fantastic undercard will still make for a great night of boxing at York Hall on December 1st.
