“A show not to be missed”
Two Southern Area championship contests headline the 10-fight Goodwin Boxing card tonight at the York Hall.
For the Southern Area Super Lightweight title, Goodwin Boxing’s own Denis Denikajev defends his belt and his unbeaten record against Tony Pills’ Tom Ansell.
Denikajev won the title with a devastating stoppage of ID Hill whilst Ansell is never in a dull fight and will be coming with all guns blazing. The two have sparred in the past and both are confident.
The Southern Area Super-Bantamweight title “REPEAT OR REVENGE” sees a rematch of a fight from over three years ago.
Goodwin Boxings’ Peter Mirga takes on former champion Ryan Walker in a mouth watering clash. In November 2019 Walker when in the home corner won a close contest 97-94. Mirga has since signed with the Goodwin team and is fully confident that the result will be reversed.
Also in action towards the top of the bill is super-lightweight propsect George Hennon, who brings an army of fans with him from Kent.
