Favourite all-time boxer? “Muhammed Ali.”

Favourite fight? “The Thriller in Manilla.”

Boxing clubs? “I started at Sheerness ABC, then I boxed in the army in the Royal Engineers and made it to the army team, and then I represented the whole army. Now that I’m pro, I box for the Invicta Gym.”

Amateur honours? “Army heavyweight champion, got to the semis of the Novice ABA’s. My last fight was in ABA Elites.”

Biggest achievement in boxing? “Representing the Army, only the best boxers in the entire army get selected for that.”

Toughest ever opponent? “Toughest sparring so far is David Allen, he's very awkward, frustrating and tough. What a top bloke the White Rhino is!”

Goals in boxing? “My overall goal is to test myself and see how far I can go.”

Retirement age? “I’m a heavyweight so got a longer shelf life than other boxers. When I get to the point where I can’t go any further then that’s when I’ll retire.”

Best friends in boxing? “Everyone at the Invicta Gym.”

Boxing style? “I’d say I’m a busy boxer.”

Ring walk song? “Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) by The Prodigy. For my next fight against Daniel Dubois, a local band, Big River, will be playing me out to their single ‘Hometown Hustle’ as I'm good mates with the lead singer, Adam Bartholomew.”

Pre-fight rituals? “No, although I actually do wear the same pants for every pro fight but not by ritual, just because they’re comfortable!”

Favourite brand of gloves? “I wear Twins.”

Best venue? “York Hall for my debut. Nothing has compared to that yet.”

Favourite football team? “Gillingham FC.”

Other sports? “I follow football, that’s my main sport.”

What actor would play you in a film of your life? “Dany DeVito!”

Favourite brands? “Ralph Lauren.”

Phobias? “No, I used to be scared of heights but the army got that out of me.”

Motto? “I keep saying to my kids that everyone gets scared at times but it’s the brave ones that will do it.”

Next fight? “Hasn’t been confirmed yet but in a few months hopefully for the international challenge belt.”

What fight do you want to see happen this year? “Haye v Joshua, that’ll be a good fight later on this year.”

If you could fight anyone, past or present, who would it be? “The world champions right now, chuck me in with them! I’d love to have fought Muhammad Ali but he would’ve annihilated me!”
