On January 4, Frank Warren announced on social media: "Delighted to confirm talks are underway for a huge domestic Heavyweight clash in 2020. Juggernaut vs Dynamite. Let’s make it happen."
The Hall of Fame promoter posted the tweet with a picture of him standing in the middle of Joyce's team of Sam Jones and Adam Moralee in the Queensberry Promotions headquarters.
Both Dubois and Joyce have been on a collision course for some time now after the BBBofC ordered the pair to face each other for the British heavyweight title. Joyce withdrew to chase down bigger fights and Dubois won the vacant title by defeating unbeaten Nathan Gorman instead.
The Greenwich powerhouse called for the fight to happen last September. He was last seen blasting through Japanese character Kyo Fujimoti in December.
