Frank Bruno granted trainer's licence
Former WBC world heavyweight champion and British boxing legend Frank Bruno is set to return to professional boxing after being granted his trainer's licence from the British Boxing Board of Control.
The endearing gentle giant finally won a world title on his fourth attempt during his glittering career when he outpointed WBC champion Oliver McCall in an historical fight for British boxing in 1995.
Now 58-years-old, Bruno was active between 1982-1996, where he compiled an incredible record of 40 wins, with 38 KO victories, and just five defeats.
The likeable Londoner has a lifetime of experience readily available to pass on and was recently spotted at the Peacock Gym in Canning Town, taking Daniel Dubois on the pads.
