Siar Ozgul faces vs Logan Yoon confirmed
Highly-rated American Logan Yoon will face former Southern Area champion Siar Ozgul on the undercard of the #GoldenContract light-heavyweight semi-finals at York Hall on March 20.
Logan Yoon (16-1, 12 KOs) was part of the Golden Contract super-lightweight quarter-finalists, and will look to return to winning ways when he heads back to the scene of his battle with Ohara Davies in October. The controversial Hackney hitter, known as 'OD', handed the Hawaiian his first ever career defeat as he halted the unbeaten visitor in the seventh round.
Siar Ozgul (15-4, 3 KOs) is no stranger to York Hall, having competed there on 13 occasions in his career, including in his latest contest when he went the distance with recent world title challenger Anthony Yigit. Ozgul lost on points 75-78 to the world title challenger in June last year.
The fight between Yoon and Ozgul is part of a huge night of action, that features Hosea Burton, Liam Conroy, Serge Michel and Ricards Bolotniks competing in their light-heavyweight semi-finals.
A brilliant battle for the English light-heavyweight title is also on the card, as unbeaten Dan Azeez defends his belt against Andre Sterling.
Along with the #GoldenContract light-heavyweight semi-finals on March 20, the featherweight and super-lightweight semi-finals take place later this month.
Ryan Walsh, Tyrone McCullagh, Jazza Dickens and Leigh Wood are the final four featherweights, while the super-lightweight line-up features Ohara Davies, Tyrone McKenna, Mohamed Mimoune and Jeff Ofori, with the event taking place at York Hall on February 21.
