Eddie Hearn reveals two-fight plan for AJ
The Matchroom Boxing promoter said, "AJ wants to fight Tyson fury more than anything in the world and really when I'm mapping out his career I see Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury as the final two opponents for him to compete against.
"In my vision, AJ fights Deontay Wilder, knocks him out, and fights Tyson Fury and beats him and retires. Then he's done the lot and we can just sail off into the sunset."
Joshua's stock was at an all-time low following his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in 2022. However, the Londoner returned this with a points win over durable American Jermaine Franklin then scored a sensational seventh-round KO over Finn fighter Robert Helenius.
"AJ has had two fights this year and taken much less money than he's used to but he's not that bothered," Hearn revealed. "He wants momentum and activity but he also wants the big fights."
