Someone's '0' has got to go when O'Leary meets Quinn on August 12
Dublin sensation Pierce O'Leary insists the late change of opponent won't be a problem for him when he takes on Jacob Quinn on tomorrow's huge #MTKFightNight event.
Unbeaten fighters collide when O’Leary (4-0, 1 KO) faces Quinn (4-0) on a massive #MTKFightNight at Production Park Studios in Wakefield, live in the US on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank and worldwide on IFL TV.
While O'Leary hasn't had much time to prepare for his new foe, he is still confident of an extremely dominant performance against Quinn.
O'Leary said:"I have had nine hard weeks of top training, plus the work I've done during the lockdown. I've been sparring all different types of fighting styles, so I am more than ready for this and I am fully switched on.
"Once I get the win with a very impressive performance I hope it leads me onto big cards to show everyone what I have, and to keep building my stock. It's going to be a six round fight, and I believe it will suit me better than four rounds.
"It might feel a bit similar to a spar, but you've got to switch on at all times. I'm excited about it because even though my fans are not there, I know they're going to be tuned in at home on ESPN+ or IFL TV."
O’Leary faces Quinn on a huge show tomorrow night, which is headlined by Jono Carroll vs. Maxi Hughes and also features Sean McComb going up against Siar Ozgul, Craig MacIntyre taking on Ishmael Ellis, and Sahir Iqbal facing Maredudd Thomas for the WBC Youth title.
It kicks off a brilliant run of #MTKFightNight events throughout the summer, with the likes of Lewis Crocker, Lee McGregor, Gary Cully, Akeem Ennis Brown, Dan Azeez and more all in action over the coming months.
