Dillian Whyte clashes with Tyson Fury opponent Otto Wallin
Dillian Whyte will return to the ring in a heavyweight clash with Otto Wallin on October 30 at the O2 Arena in London
Chantelle Cameron will fight Mary McGee for the IBF, WBC and Ring Magazine World Titles on same show
British heavyweight Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19KOs) is currently embroiled in an ongoing legal dispute with the WBC as he continues to chase a world title shot, but will not let this put his career on hold and has chosen to face dangerous Swede Otto Wallin (22-1, 14KOs), who gave heavyweight rival Tyson Fury hell in their 2019 fight.
Tyson Fury is set to defend his WBC belt against bitter rival Deontay Wilder on October 9 to complete their epic trilogy, with patient Whyte keen for a crack at the winner, having been made to wait for so long already.
It’s understood that terms are agreed with No.1 Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin, with an announcement due to come within the coming week.
Londoner Whyte and his team previously confirmed the date and venue for his next bout would be October 30 at the O2 Arena in London, details already listed on BoxRec.
30-year-old Wallin is a Swedish heavyweight, managed by Zachary Levin, with a record of 22 wins, with just the solitary loss to Tyson.
Promoted by Dmitriy Salita, he is best known for his fight with Fury two years ago in September 2019, which many believe he was unfortunate not to win by stoppage.
The ‘Gypsy King’ suffered a massive cut as the skin above his right eye was torn open by a punch from Wallin in the third round.
Fury could easily have been forced out of the contest at this point, but battled on regardless.
Wallin caused plenty of problems for the Brit throughout the night, though was ultimately beaten by unanimous decision with scores of 116-112, 117-111, 118-110.
The cut required 47 stitches for Fury post-fight.
Wallin has fought just twice since then, with the COVID pandemic temporarily obstructing his career.
He stopped Travis Kauffman in an August 2020 comeback fight and then comfortably beat Dominic Breazeale in February.
Although the dangerman will present difficulties for Dillian, Whyte will be looking to handle him better than his potential future foe Fury did to make a statement.

Chantelle Cameron vs Mary McGee
The Undisputed Super-Lightweight crown will be put on the line as Chantelle Cameron, Mary McGee, Kali Reis and Jessica Camara all fight it out for 140lbs supremacy in a four-way tournament.
Cameron (14-0, 8 KOs) displayed an impressive performance last time out in her maiden WBC World Title defence, beating former champion Melissa Hernández by TKO in the fifth round to retain the green and gold strap and continue her flawless record since turning professional in 2017.
Mary ‘Merciless’ McGree (27-3, 15 KOs) comes into the fight with increased momentum, notching seven straight wins since her World Title loss in 2013 and picking up the IBF Super-Lightweight Title on the way. The American’s last win came via a ninth round TKO against Deanha Hobbs to retain her crown.
"I'm delighted to have this opportunity to show that I’m the number one fighter in the world at 140lbs,” said 'Wham Bam' Cameron. “All I've wanted since I started in boxing is to become Undisputed, and now I have a fantastic chance to achieve that.
"These tough fights against the other champions are what motivates me and pushes me in the gym, and you're going to see the very best Chantelle Cameron.
"They are all great champions, and first things first I have Mary McGee to take care of, and then once I come through that I'll be ready to make history against the winner of Kali Reiss and Jessica Camara."
More fights expected to be announced shortly.
