Deontay Wilder weighs in at his heaviest ever

WBC king Wilder (42-0-1) opted to record his highest ever weight during his entire 12-year career for his eagerly-anticipated rematch with Lineal champion Tyson Fury (29-0-1).
For some reason, 'The Bronze Bomber' decided to add an extra 20 lbs of weight to his frame from their first fight 14-months ago. His inability to keep 6' 9" giant down during their first fight could be the reason for the added bulk to increase his power, but the 34-year-old long-reigning champion's punching prowess tends to come from his speed and athleticism rather than muscle and poundage.
'The Gypsy King' registered a whopping 273 lbs on the scales for the return fight! He has only weighed heavier twice during his 30-fight career when he fought Sefer Seferi in his comeback fight in 2018 and against Joey Abell in 2014… he KO'd both in the fourth round. Could that be his thinking behind the weight gain?
