Undercard highlights
Former World super-flyweight champion Paul Butler (26-1), 29 from Ellesmere Port, has a chance to become a two-weight world champ when he takes on unbeaten Puerto Rican Emmanuel Rodriguez (17-0) for the vacant IBF World bantamweight title.
Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce (3-0) – who is promoted by David Haye – faces Jamaican southpaw Lenroy Thomas (22-4-1), 33, for his Commonwealth heavyweight title. The 32-year-old 'Juggernaught' goes for his first professional title in just his fourth pro bout, but the 6ft6" powerhouse is used to tough challenges having defeated a British title contender and former Southern Area heavyweight champion in his debut last October, followed up with two first-round KO wins.
Martin J Ward (19-0-2) will make the first defence of his European super-featherweight title against James Tennyson (21-2). The Essex-based southpaw, a former British champion who owns a Lonsdale belt outright after making three successful defences, will have a tough time on his hands against the Northern Irishman who has won four of his last five fights early.
John Ryder (25-4) v Jamie Cox (25-1) is the most eagerly-awaited fight on this card for the boxing purists. The talented southpaws will collide in a must-win super-middleweight battle, which will propel the winner into contention for a major title fight next.
Ryder, 29, returns to action following his stoppage of Patrick Nielsen in October, a win that saw 'The Gorilla' take the Dane's No. 4 ranking in the WBA, but Cox, 31, also wants to return to the top level after being stopped by George Groves in his WBA 'super' title fight in the coveted World Boxing Super Series.
