WBC Commemorative Belts displayed at the WBC Annual Convention
The World Boxing Council has designed commemorative belts with the beautiful work of artisans from different parts of Mexico.
Those attending the 59th Convention of the World Boxing Council will be able to enjoy those belts and take their souvenir photo, next to the first special belt, “Huichol I” that was made for the fight between Saúl Álvarez and Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. of the May 6, 2017.
The “Huichol II” was disputed by Gennady Golovkin and also by Saúl Álvarez “Huichol II” on September 16, 2017.
The Maya I and Maya II will also be exhibited; Chiapaneco I, Chiapaneco II, Mazahua and Otomí.
Heroes of Humanity, is the belt that was created during the pandemic to decorate the people who helped in the terrible time Covid19 spread.
In the exhibition you can also see all the generations of belts that the WBC has had.
