Anderson and Satybaldinova make weight ahead of title clash
On August 4 at the Quiet Cannon Country Club in Montebello, California, North American Chelsey Anderson (5-0, 2KO) and Kazakhstan’s Aida Satybaldinova (6-2-1, 2KO) will face each other for the WBC International Lightweight title.
The eight-fight event is presented by Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions.
California's Anderson, 31, comes from defeating Jessica Juárez by wide decision on May 12. This will be her third fight in a row at the Quiet Cannon Country Club, but her first ever championship contest.
'Lady Sparta' Satybaldinova, based in Hollywood, comes from defeating Jaica Pavilus in June, also by decision. The 35-year-old Kazakh is a former WBF International champion so possesses the edge in experince but has only one three from her last five bouts.
Both seek fighters the first important title in their promising careers.
On Augst 3, both warriors made the official weigh showing themselves to be in great shape.
