British Championship Circular released on May 11
This month's British, English and European notices have been released by the British Boxing Board of Control.
Already this month, fans have witnessed history as welterweight Lauren Price became the first ever British Women's Champion in history, and Welshman Jay Harris was crowned British flyweight champion. But the main talking point this week has been all about the heavyweight division where BOXXER's Frazer Clarke withdrew from purse bids to become the mandatory challenger to champion Fabio Wardley.
In English title news, Brad Pauls gets another shot at the middleweight crown, losing out to Tyler Denny on points in his first attempt last February, he now faces Hornchurch's Mitchell Frearson, unbeaten in 10 bouts. The contest will take place on a Goodwin Boxing show.
