Middleweight boxer Tommy Langford chose to study for a degree – BSc Sport and Exercise Sciences – before pursuing a career in the ring – and believes he has benefited as a result.
Bideford-born Langford is now Birmingham-based, where he studied for his degree, and just recently notched up his 19th win in his 20th professional contest in a warm-up fight for his first British title defence against mandatory challenger Jack Arnfield in January next year.
