BBN caught up with unbeaten lightweight star Jamie Arlain at his South London Gym, owned by former British Champion Matt Marsh to find out his personal boxing award winners of 2016.
The Bethnal Green boxer had a great year himself, winning the British Challenge Belt in September followed by an emphatic second-round knockout victory in a Southern Area title eliminator in December. The 28-year-old now faces Michael Devine for his Southern Area strap that he won on the same night, also via a second-round stoppage.
Here's a list that 'No Pain No Gain' came up with for the boxing winners of 2016…

Anthony Joshua (17-0) – "AJ won the IBF World title and defended it twice. Can't wait to watch him and Klitschko in 2017!"
Boxer of the Year Runner-up
Carl Frampton (23-0) – "The Jackal won the WBA Super World title as the underdog against Leo Santa Cruz in America, and won the WBA World super-bantamweight title in a 50-50 fight with Scott Quigg, beating two undefeated rivals."
