Antonio Moran and Kendo Castaneda book place in ProBox TV Last Chance Tournament Final
ProBox Promotions presented the semifinals of the Pro Box TV Last Chance Tournament last Friday evening, live on ProBox TV, as ProBox TV continued to deliver an entertaining mix of hard-hitting action and technical skills, which saw the finalists confirmed. The card also featured three of ProBox TV's Future Stars.
Antonio Moran (29-5-1, 19 KOs), picked up a one-sided unanimous decision over Michael Dutchover (16-3, 10 KOs), to punch his ticket to ProBox’s “Last Chance” finals. Moran’s constant pressure and power proved the difference in the fight as two of the three judges gave Moran every round, and only one gave Dutchover just a single round.
Kendo Castaneda (19-5, 9 KOs) is well on his way to reviving his career as he picked up a hard-fought win over Joseph Fernandez (15-5, 3 KOs) to find himself in the finals of ProBoxTV’s “Last Chance” tournament. The bout was simply a classic in the history of ProBox, as round nine was one of the best rounds I have seen all year. A contender for fight of the year.
It was announced that Antonio Moran vs. Kendo Castaneda will headline a ProBoxTV event on November 4th to crown the tournament's winner.
On the undercard, Jusiyah Shirley (6-0, 5 KOs), stopped Eric Womack (4-2, 1 KO) with a straight left hand in the fourth round at 1:56, in a scheduled six-round bout. The opening bout saw super middleweight Daniel Blancas (3-0, 1 KO) get a four-round unanimous decision over Jolando Taala (1-2).
Future stars Darrelle Valsaint (5-0, 4KOs) and Jaycob Gomez (6-0, 5KOs) remained undefeated as both produced TKO victories against their respective opposition.
