Anthony Taylor says Jack Fincham and Tommy Fury belong on Love Island and not inside a ring
Vegas Insider caught up with Jake Paul's sparring partner and Tommy Fury's former opponent Anthony Taylor (2-3, 1KO) today.
33-year-old Taylor, who engaged in a foul-mouthed exchange with John Fury last week, fights Love Island star Jack Fincham on Floyd Mayweather's undercard in Dubai on November 12.
The outspoken Californian added that Londoner Fincham’s only shot of beating him is if he blinds him with his pearly white teeth.
He further attacked the Fury family, stating "Big John" must despair at his son Tommy’s opponents and that 'TNT's' career could be ended by Paul Bamba this weekend.
I want to fight KSI after I dispose of Jack Fincham:
"After I dispose of Fincham, I want KSI. If KSI wants the Jake Paul fight, then I'm the perfect opponent to start with, having sparred many rounds with Paul. Earn your shot against Jake by beating his sparring partner."
Jack Fincham’s only chance of beating me is if he blinds me with his pearly white teeth:
"What can I say about Jack "Love Island" Fincham? Well, firstly we need to pay respect to his strengths. A fighter must always be aware of his opponent's strengths. For Jack it's his very white teeth. His only chance is to blind me with those pearly whites and then catch me a shot I don't see coming. But that's not going to happen.
"Jack, like Tommy Fury, doesn't belong inside a ring. They belong on Love Island. They are reality stars, not fighters. They're not built for the hurt game and that's exactly what is going to happen to Jack, he's going to get hurt."
John Fury must despair at his son Tommy’s opponents:
"I am the only legitimate competition Tommy Fury has faced, he's a bit of a fraud if I'm truthful. Big John Fury must despair at Tommy's progress and opponents. Yet there's still a chance that Paul Bamba ends Tommy's career on November 12. That's what I'm predicting, the retirement of Tommy Fury after a devastating KO. Big John and Tyson Fury will then have to make an intervention. They'll need to sit down and tell him he's not a real fighter."
Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul:
"What Jake is doing in boxing is fantastic, not only for himself but the fighters he's helping, and also pushing forwards the women's game. The right opponent for him next is Conor McGregor at a catchweight. We know Conor has a taste for an exhibition, so why not face Jake in the boxing ring. It's the biggest fight in boxing. Conor McGregor versus Jake Paul would surpass all of Mayweather PPVs. It will break all time PPV records. It would be the highest grossing fight in all of boxing history."
