Deontay Wilder reveals he will fight Anthony Joshua twice
Wilder believes if Joshua comes into the contest with confidence, then he may last up to four rounds with him
Former WBC World heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has confirmed that he and Anthony Joshua are in talks to negotiate a two-fight deal that will see the pair clash in Saudi Arabia in January 2024, with a rematch planned for Africa later in the year.
The 37-year-old KO king said, "That's the one that's up next. I'll be getting into camp real soon. It's gonna be a great, great fight between me and him."
The American added his prediction for the fight, "It's really going to be up to Joshua. If he brings a Joshua that's timid and scared, it's probably gonna go early. If he brings a more confident Joshua, it may go a little bit longer, it may go four."
But the Brit recently told Fight Hub TV that he would turn the fight into a technial match, "This is a game of chess, I'm gonna take away Wilder's best attributes.
"I'm not going to stand there with my chin in the air and say, 'Hit me', I'm going nullify him.
"It will be very challenging for him, for sure."
