Akeem Ennis Brown injured
Friday’s planned fight between Akeem Ennis Brown and Sam Maxwell has unfortunately been postponed after Brown suffered an injury in training.
The man known as ‘Riiddy Riiddy Riival” was due to defend his British and Commonwealth super-lightweight titles against challenger Maxwell in a clash of unbeaten fighters, but the bout will now be unable to take place this week.
Friday’s Queensberry Promotions event at the Copper Box Arena will still see undefeated Sam Gilley challenge Danny Ball for the WBC International Silver welterweight title, while rising star Dennis McCann is back in action, as he takes on Luis Moreno on a groundbreaking weekend of back-to-back nights of boxing on BT Sport on Friday March 26 and Saturday March 27 at London’s Copperbox Arena.
Also in action are in action are British and Commonwealth Bantamweight Champion Brad Foster and Scotland’s first World amateur champion Willy Hutchinson. Full line-up HERE
