Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are both world champion boxers with outstanding professional records. The two rivals have had their fair share of drama during their first two fights, both of which were epic and memorable to date.
Background of the Fight
Deontay Wilder clinched the heavyweight championship in January 2015 by beating Bermane Stiverne. Fury on the other hand won the WBC title after breaking the record by becoming the only American heavyweight champion who beat the long-time WBC titleholder Wladimir Klitschko. The management called for consecutive press conferences in – BT Sport Headquarters, London, New Flight Deck at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex New York City, and the Star Plaza, Los Angeles, California where they disclosed that the match would be held on the 1st of December at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Fight Details
The much-awaited match was held at the Staples Center in the presence of a large crowd of 17,698 fans. Highlights of the match include
Round 1: Wilder tried to use his technique of driving the opponent to the corner but Tyson Fury was well aware of the technique and avoided the corners.
Round 4: Wilder using his stiff jabs succeeds to bloody Fury’s nose but is not consistent in his attack
Round 6: Tyson Fury employs his southpaw move and succeeds in backing Wilder against the ropes
Round 7: Both Fury and Wilder trade heavy jabs but Fury seems to be on the lead
Round 9: Fury seems to be on top after dropping Wilder to the ground. Wilder survives the round by waking up at the referee's count but is tired and weak.
Rounds 10 and 11: Fury takes advantage of the tired Wilder by landing him heavy shots on his upper body. Wilder, however, puts up a spirited fight and blocks most of the punches to finish the round.
Round 12: Wilder is successful in landing a right-left combination which brings Fury to the ground. Fury, however, is not willing to lose and wakes up on the referees count to the surprise of fans. Both hug after the last bell of the last round.

Unfinished Business
After the dramatic events of their first fight, a rematch was inevitable. Their initial bout became a point of debate globally as many did not agree with the final judges' results. After many considerations and consultations, the match was scheduled for the 22nd of February 2020, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Paradise in Nevada.
Weigh-in: Fury was the first to weigh in at 273 pounds which was an improvement by 17 pounds from their first match. Wilder on the other hand weighed 231 pounds which was a record high in his boxing career
Fight Details
Round 1: Fury in previous interviews had indicated that he would have a quick opening and true to his statement he delivered just that dominating most of the first round. At the end of the round, Wilder lands the best jab of the match which nearly brought down Fury. He admitted, post-fight, to almost seeing stars.
Round 2: The match gets more intense but Fury is clearly on the lead with Wilder being a little confused.
Round 3: Fury is unarguably in control of the ring. He carefully controls his jab ensuring they land on the best spots. Using his right hand, Fury drops Wilder for the first time after a slight hesitation.
Round 4: Wilder looks completely exhausted after receiving crazily heavy jabs from Fury. The referee Kenny Bayless also seems exhausted since he keeps separating the two champions after numerous clinches. Fury on the other hand is psyched up as he already smells victory.
Round 5: Tyson Fury loses a point after numerous elbows to his opponent Wilder.
Round 6: Tyson Fury is by now counting his blessings as he is on his way to winning. Wilder on the other hand is receiving heavy jabs from Fury who is the best boxer by now. Fury’s fans are now requesting a knockout.
Round 7: Tyson Fury is declared the match-winner after cornering Wilder and giving him heavy jabs. A towel from Wilders corner flies to the ring prompting the referee to declare Tyson Fury the winner

The much-awaited Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III crash has been called once and for all by fans. The upcoming event will be an epic boxing trilogy fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, who won in their previous match. The match is expected to be held on the 9th October 2021 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
