Unbeaten light-middleweight boxer, Lloyd Ellett 17-0 has announced his next fight date on Saturday 24th July at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton.
The iBox Gym prospect recently signed with Frank Warren and completed his Box Nation debut with a points win against the sizeable Latvian, Raimonds Sniedze 11-26-2 last March at London's York Hall.
"My next fight has been confirmed today for 24th July," said the 28-year-old nicknamed Lightning Bolt. "Seven weeks today at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton. As always, everyone's support has been incredible and sure this night will be pretty special too!! My fight will be ten rounds and I will confirm my opponent and the belt it's for next week."
Ellett already owns three Masters titles, all of them collected in front of a home crowd at the aforementioned Brighton venue in the space of a year between October 2013 to October 2014.
The 5ft 10" Sussex star is trained by respected coaches Alan Smith and Eddie Lamm at the Bromley-based iBox Gym which is also home to WBA Inter-Continental super-bantamweight champion, Lewis Pettitt and Southern Area welterweight champion, Johnny Garton.
The three-times Masters champ makes the 120 mile round trip to training every night but whenever possible, makes the most of staying Brighton-based and sparring with the interim WBA World middleweight champion, Chris Eubank Jr.
Ellett remarked, "More quality work today sparring with Chris Eubank Jr. Tickets will go on sale soon too, they'll go quick so let me know soon as so you don't miss out...thank you to everyone for the continued support it means so much."
The powerfully-built, Ellett is eyeing a route to British title contention in the talent-packed domestic division currently ruled by British champ, Liam Smith.
