Daniel Geale very confident going into Gennady Golovkin fight
Two-time world middleweight champion Daniel Geale (30-2, 16KOs) is very confident going into Saturday's fight against the heavily favoured WBA and IBO middleweight king Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26KOs) on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Most insiders are picking Golovkin to win, by knockout, but Geale has a different outcome in mind – with Golovkin's undefeated streak, and run of impressive knockouts, coming to an end in their HBO televised headliner.
"I'm very confident going into this fight, Golovkin is one of the best fighters in the world but I can beat him. We have a game plan and I know what I need to do on Saturday night to be victorious," Geale said.
"I've fought all over the world so I have no problem fighting in Madison Square Garden against Golovkin. I want the titles and he's got two of them. I always wanted to fight him and I'm ready to win on Saturday night."
