Amateur star Dan Toward all set for pro bow on December 1
Toward's pro journey begins on undercard of Wasserman Boxing show headlined by McGregor vs Lowe at the Toughsheet Community Stadium
On December 1st, the day that the countdown to Christmas officially begins, Dan Toward will have finished counting the days to his inaugaration into the professional boxing ranks.
The 21-year-old from Newcastle will make hos pro debut on the undercard of Lee McGregor vs Isaac Lowe in Bolton, live on Channel 5.
A product of the famous Birtley ABC, Toward won an incredible 10 national titles during his illustrious amateur career, which saw him as part of the Great Britain squad.
Toward signed with Wasserman Boxing in August and will campaign in the red-hot super welterweight division, currently topped by the likes of IBO World champion James Metcalf and British champ Josh Kelly in the UK.
The youngster had 84 amateur contests with 72 victories, winning 10 national titles along the way.
He said, "Joining Wasserman Boxing was a no-brainer and I know they will get me the right opportunities at the right time, in order to get me to the top.

Codie Smith, a featherweight champion-in-the-making, also features on pre-Christmas cracker, as well as unbeaten Birkenhead boxer Chloe Watson (6-0) who goes up against European title challenger Justine Lallemand (9-2-1, 1KO) for the vacant EBU flyweight title.
