A product of the famous Birtley ABC, Toward is turning professional having won an incredible 10 national titles and been part of the Great Britain squad.
Toward is one of the hottest properties in British boxing and has chosen Wasserman Boxing to guide his career in the pro ranks, signing a multi-year deal with the global promoter.
The 21-year-old, from Newcastle, plans to box in the red-hot super welterweight division and details of his highly-anticipated professional debut will be confirmed in due course.
Dan Toward said: "I had 84 amateur contests and 72 victories, winning 10 national titles along the way, but the dream has always been to get to the top in the pro ranks.
"Joining Wasserman Boxing was a no-brainer and I know they will get me the right opportunities at the right time, in order to get me to the top.
"For people who haven't seen me box yet, I will bring something original so make sure you tune-in and follow my journey!"
Kalle Sauerland, Global Head of Boxing at Wasserman Boxing, said: "Everyone at Wasserman Boxing is thrilled that Dan has decided to join our brilliant stable of fighters.
"Dan's amateur record, and the number of titles he has won, tells you everything you need to know about how talented he is and why he was one of the most sought after young fighters in the country.
"We are incredibly excited about Dan's journey and privileged that he has chosen Wasserman Boxing to guide his career as a professional."
Sam Jones, Toward's manager, said: "This is the first time I’ve worked with Kalle and Nisse, with one of my fighters, and it’s been a long time coming.
"They have been in boxing a long, long time and have a proven track record of successfully building great champions.
"My prediction is that Dan Toward will be their greatest ever signing."
