MTK Global is proud to confirm the signing of unbeaten south London light-middleweight Shaquille Day.
The 24-year-old has breezed to 8-0 since turning professional in 2015 and ‘The Black Mexican’ feels ready to challenge for belts under his new management team.
Day said: “MTK Global can offer fighters so much. They’re reliable and they’re there for you. They’re going to make sure I can get out there and fight.
“I only had three fights in 18 months before this. I need to be out more because I’m too young to be sitting there dormant. I need to be active and I’m excited to be part of MTK Global.
“I’m 8-0 already so within three or four fights I want to move towards title fights. I don’t care what title it is – I want to let my people know that I’m fighting for a title because I really feel I’m on the cusp of something.
“What you can expect from me is skills, come-forward fighting and excitement. This will be a new era for the ‘Black Mexican’ – so come and watch and find out.”
Day is trained by the man who masterminded his amateur career – Micky Burke.
