Tyson Fury suspension lifted
The BBBofC announced the following notice today:
"Following interview with Tyson Fury at the British Boxing Board of Control offices earlier today, the suspension of his British Boxing Board of Control boxer’s licence will be lifted subject to receipt and clearance of all medical requirements."
British boxing chiefs met with Tyson Fury on January 19 and reched the decision to reinstate his licence to fight once they receive up-to-date medical records.
The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) suspended Fury back in 2016 owing to "anti-doping and medical issues".
The news will be welcomed by many boxing fans who are keen to see the last lineal heavyweight champion get back into contention to reclaim the titles he never lost in the ring.
