John O’Donnell v Tamuka Mucha (final eliminator)
Also for O’Donnell’s English title, as this oft-postponed match should go ahead on February 16 at the Indigo, O2. Josh Goodwin promotes.
Super-lightweight
Joe Hughes withdrew from his final eliminator with Johnny Coyle, so expect the latter to become mandatory challenger for new champion Jack Catterall. Hughes challenges European champ Antony Yigit on a December 2 Cyclone show in Bethnal Green.
Meanwhile, Jeff Saunders and Ste Lewis meet in a standard eliminator this Saturday in Newcastle, as do Thomas Patrick Ward (holder, super-bantam) and Sean Davis.
