The challenger provisionally has home advantage on February 10 at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, with Steve Wood promoting.

Ted Cheeseman v James Metcalf (final eliminator)
This one, also for Cheeseman’s English belt, goes to purse bids, due by December 13. Contest by the end of March 2018.

Welterweight
John O’Donnell v Tamuka Mucha (final eliminator)
Also for O’Donnell’s English title, as this oft-postponed match should go ahead on February 16 at the Indigo, O2. Josh Goodwin promotes.

Super-lightweight
Joe Hughes withdrew from his final eliminator with Johnny Coyle, so expect the latter to become mandatory challenger for new champion Jack Catterall. Hughes challenges European champ Antony Yigit on a December 2 Cyclone show in Bethnal Green.

Meanwhile, Jeff Saunders and Ste Lewis meet in a standard eliminator this Saturday in Newcastle, as do Thomas Patrick Ward (holder, super-bantam) and Sean Davis.
