Ring Talk: Sean Robinson

21 year old Super-Welterweight Sean is trained by Terry Steward at Club KO in Buckhurst Hill Essex. Sean is one of two brothers with elder brother Luke campaigning in the Light-Heavyweight division. Whilst aiming to win multiple belts in his career he believes in one step at a time. Sean will be looking in the next 12-24 months to capture the Southern Area belt and then on up the belt ladder from there.


 

Sean was born in Ealing, West London and has lived in Ruislip all his life. Stared boxing at 7 Sean had 47 amateur bouts winning 29 reaching two national finals, one schoolboy final and one NABC final. As an amateur Sean boxed for Dale Youth and Hooks boxing club eventually turning professional at the age of 20 in 2016. 

Sean's favourite fighters are Pernell Whittaker and Sugar Ray Leonard. Sean would describe himself as a go forward counter puncher who presses opponents and looks for openings.

Sean has his next bout on 9th September at York Hall, Bethnal Green.
