Predictions for the Dillian Whyte v Lucas Browne WBC Silver heavyweight title clash this Saturday
Bitter rivals Dillian Whyte (22-1 16KO’s) and Lucas Browne (25-0 22KO’s) will finally bring their vicious feud to an end at the O2 this Saturday.
The acrimonious build-up between the warring pair has been expletive and often controversial, with Aussie Whyte, 38, hurling racism accusations at Brixton’s Browne, 29, trained by Mark Tibbs.
The heavyweights will finally be able to inflict the punishment they have been promising on each other this weekend in what is expected to be an epic battle.

Miles ShinkwinFormer Southern Area light-heavyweight champion
“I predict an early win for Dillian.
I recently saw Browne sparring with Derek Chisora and feel that Whyte will be too explosive for him. As soon as Dillian gets over the nerves and realises he has every advantage I think he takes him out within four-five rounds.
That being said, you can never discount a man of Browne’s size and strength who clearly punches very hard.”

“Dillian Whye on points.
Younger, active and with more movement, I expect Dillian to basically win by shutout, possibly even a stoppage, but expect Dillian to be cautious and win by decision.”
Darrel Church Light-heavyweight prospect
“I would like to see Dillian win, but I predict a points win or late stoppage to Browne."
Anesu “Bad News” Twala Unbeaten lightweight prospect
“I can't see anything other than a Dillian Whyte win.
Browne is a former world champ and has power but Dillian Whyte is too young, hungry and determined.
Reports from his camp suggest he's razor sharp for this one too so I think he'll win by late stoppage or make Browne quit.”

“I might we way off the mark, but I can see this being a long, drawn-out boring fight with Whyte winning a close points decision.”
Tim Rickson Sports Agent
“I think it’s a very close fight, but I’ve heard a few things from behind the scenes that leads me to favour Dillian Whyte, plus, Mark Tibbs will have devised the perfect game plan for “The Brixton Body Snatcher”, which I believe he will have the discipline to stick to.
Whyte has youth on his side and will possess the superior stamina and fitness over Browne. Also, activity goes in his favour having gone the full 12-rounds against Robert Helenius just five months ago, Browne has only boxed two rounds in two years.
I’m not a betting man, but I’m actually sticking a score on Dillian Whyte to win by KO for this one, probably in the later rounds when his superior fitness and advantage of youth will overtake a tired, older Browne.”

“I think this is a really good fight on paper and has the potential to be explosive.
I feel that Whyte will stick to a game plan and not get wild. Since Whyte's link up with Mark Tibbs he has become a far more disciplined fighter.
Browne can never be written off, as he can bang. Whyte has a great chin, so this does have the potential to be a great fight.
My prediction is a late stoppage for Dillian Whyte.”

“Whyte to win on decision.
“Big Daddy” Browne brings reasonably good foot work for a heavyweight and, of course, power, but I think this fight has come at a better time for 29-year-old Dillian, his developing maturity will show through and he will outbox Browne from the first bell.
This could be a great fight – Whyte on points.”
Joe Neale Boxing Agent
“I think many people have forgotten that Lucas Browne can box, he used his feet very well against Chageav. Whyte boxed well against Helenius but lacks that needed power get a knockout.
If Browne is like he was when he boxed Chageav, I think he beats Dillian on a close points decision. His inactivity may play a factor, either way, it’s going to be close.
Browne on points.”

"I'm a big fan of Dillian, as he comes across as a straight down the line kinda' guy and always comes to fight! He's a big guy that can box and bang, but all heavyweights can bang a bit, to be fair! With that said, Lucas Browne really can launch a rocket, but he admits himself that's he's not the best technically, so I give him a punchers' chance.
If Whyte's willing to box to a game plan and stick to it, I can see him boxing his way to a points victory, possibly a late stoppage.
He proved that he can take a punch during the clash with AJ and he might need to here! However, he also proved that he can lose it too, as he fights with passion. At this level, he needs to prove himself by maintaining composure and boxing to victory.
Being wary of Browne's right hand, but as he tends to swing it in from the hips, watch out for Whyte's left hook!"

“I think Whyte, under coach Mark Tibbs, might actually go for a sensible boxing game plan to outbox Browne.
Provided he resists temptation to go toe to toe, which might happen at some stage, he could win a wide points decision or late stoppage, I feel. Great fight though!”

"Dillian will win this!
He’s battle-hardened and Lucas will come forward, which will suit Dillian. The only issue could be Lucas Browne's unorthodox style, but the fact he’s had one fight in two years tells its own story!
Dillian by stoppage 4-6!"
George Lacey Sky Sports Digital Producer
"Lucas Browne aims to land just one conclusive punch in 36 minutes to demolish Dillian Whyte this saturday night.
Browne possess stunning power but the movement and sheer boxing ability that has seen Whyte's rapid rise to the top of the heavyweight rankings in the past year will be enough for him to get the stoppage.
We know a punch can sway a top level heavyweight bout but Browne banking on that one money-shot won't be enough this weekend and I think Whyte will dismiss him within six to seven rounds."

"I personally think Browne wins by KO because of that one-punch KO factor."
