Background

By the time that Ohara Davies (18-2) had made his professional debut in 2014, Miguel Vazquez (41-7) had already won a world title and defended it six times.

The hard-hitting Hackney boxer, aged 27, is looking to add a big name to his resume but the 32-year-old Mexican will have other ideas for him.

Both boxers have lost twice in their last five outings coming into this contest, Josh Taylor being a shared opponent inflicting one of those defeats.
