After being floored by his opponent Louis Adolphe (7-1) in their welterweight clash on the undercard of George Groves v Jamie Cox on October 14 at Wembley Arena, Nathan McIntosh (14-2) later claimed a second attack occured in the corridors backstage after the fight.
The unbeaten Londoner decked Nottingham's Nathan McIntosh well after referee Howard Foster called for a break. After the 29-year-old Midlander had received medical attention and returned to his feet, the ring announcer confirmed the Nottingham man as the winner via a DQ in round one.
Disgusted by the decision, formerly unbeaten Adolphe raised his middle fingers to the booing crowds and stormed out of the ring having tasted his first defeat to move to 7-1.
The winner by disqualification then later claimed on Facebook in a message to his concerned fans that Adolpe, 25 from Tooting, later attacked him backstage at the show and also his mum in the audience.
