Morden stylist Lenny Daws, the two-time British ten-stone boss, returns to action at Glow, Kent, on Saturday night (the 8th of November), fighting Chaquib Fadli of France for the vacant EBU-EU title. Daws, 28-3 (10), will meet the French light-welter champion on the undercard of the British cruiserweight title rematch between Bob Ajisafe and Travis Dickinson, and the bout will be televised live on Channel Five. Fadli, 13-3 (7), is a tall, back-foot boxer, and he has not lost in five years. Daws, 35, hopes to use the match as a springboard for a rematch with world-rated Italian Michele Di Rocco, who eased past him on a tight decision last summer for the full European belt.
