Kent lightweight Kane Cantell wins pro bow
Kane Cantell (1-0) got off the mark in his pro career with a shutout points win over Andy 'Thunder' Harris (3-67-1) at the York Hall on March 16 on the Sinfield Star Promotions event headlined by Sam O'Maison vs Kay Prospere English super-lightweight championship clash, who eachhad to settle for a draw.
The 22-year-old debutant from Kent, now residing in Richmond, didn't waste any shots, produced the far better work, and was barely touched by his 36-year-old Gloucestershire opponent apart from a couple of clean shots in the final moments of the four-round fight, scored at 40-36 to Cantell.

Headliners Sam O'Maison (16-2-1) and Kay Prospere (12-1-1) were forced to settle with a draw in their English super-lightweight title contest, with two judges scoring the contest 95-95.
Linus Udofia (13-0) stopped Darren Codona (7-4-1) in the seventh-round of their final eliminator for the English middleweight title. 25-year-old Codona was down in the third-round and twice in the seventh before the contest was called to a halt. Lutonian Linus will now face the winner of Reece Cartwright (22-1) vs Jack Cullen (15-1) who contest the English middleweight championship on May 11 in Bolton.
