Goodwin Boxing expand their Devon stable with new signing Lewis Everson

Goodwin Boxing have announced the signing of 24-year-old middleweight talent Lewis Everson on a three-year management contract.

The heavy-hitting Devonian had a mildly successful amateur career, winning 13 from 23 contests.

Blessed with a style more suited to the professional ranks, itEverson felt it was his time to turn over and he chose Steve Goodwin to manage his career going forward.

“I have seen what he has done with Brad Pauls (current 13-0 Southern Area Middleweight Champion), who comes from this area of the country and have been very impressed.”

Lewis will be going through the formalities of a boxing board hearing before a potential debut in October/November this year.

Steve Goodwin was delighted with the new acquisition, stating, “We are delighted to be signing another boxer from the Devon area as we build rapidly in the area. Lewis has every tool to become a champion and am delighted that he chose our team to guide his career.”
