Quartet of Goodwin Boxing light-heavyweights are revealed in the line-up for the next edition of Ultimate Boxxer
Goodwin Boxing are delighted to announce that four of the exciting light-heavyweights signed to their stable will compete in the Ultimate Boxxer Light-Heavyweight competition at the O2 on Friday 2nd November.
The 175lbs stars include:
- Former English champion Joel McIntyre (17-2)
- Scotland’s former amateur star John McCallum (11-1)
- Former Southern Area title contender Jordan Joseph (7-2-1)
- British Challenge belt champion Darrel Church (7-2-1)
Alongside the talented quartet that makes up half of the competition, there's also Dec Spelman (12-1) , former Southern Area title challenger 'Sniper' Sam Smith and undefeated duo Sam Horsfall (2-0) and Shakam Pitters (6-0) completing the line-up in an evening that promises to be a night to remember.
With a handsome £50,000 prize fund awaiting the winner and huge TV exposure, this prize fighting round robin tournament provides a great chance for all competitors to not only win a life-changing amount of money, but also provide them with wider recognition to the public.
Unknown welterweight Drew Brown (10-0) became an overnight star when he won the first Ultimate Boxxer tournament live on Channel 5 back in April at the Manchester Arena. The 22-year-old Northampton six-footer was the first to be adorned with the Golden Robe presented by two-weight world champion and boxing legend Ricky Hatton.
Head of Goodwin Boxing, Steve Goodwin commented, “We are delighted to be able to work with Ultimate Boxxer and give four of our light-heavyweights this massive opportunity. We cannot wait for the event and our boxers are really motivated to do well. We are delighted to be able to provide this opportunity for them."
